“Kronos” significa “tiempo” en griego. ¿Y por qué hemos llamado a esta colección así? Por su durabilidad. Nuestro nuevo terciopelo es elegancia y glamour con la máxima resistencia para que te dure muchísimos años.
Y como tal vamos a dedicar este artículo a lo imperecedero. A la intemporalidad. A aquellos maestros del tiempo que han creado colores, imaginado objetos o proyectado casas que se resisten al paso del tiempo, siendo contemporáneas para siempre.
Kronos como un arquitecto
Mies van der Rohe. Arquitecto y diseñador industrial. Nos quedamos con el Pabellón Alemán que proyectó para la Exposición Internacional celebrada en Barcelona en 1929. Sí, en 1929.
Kronos como un diseñador industrial
Charles & Ray Eames. Diseñadores industriales y marido y mujer. Fueron los grandes genios del mobiliario moderno, aunque también trabajaron en el campo del diseño gráfico, las artes y el cine.
Kronos como un color
El International Klein Blue (IKB), de Yves Klein. Se trata de una tonalidad profunda de azul concebida y registrada por el artista francés Yves Klein (1928-1962) en 1960. Un color que a pesar de los años sigue siendo un icono de lo contemporáneo y la modernidad.
